About Maddison

Maddison found her love for entertainment hosting earlier than most. While the majority of elementary schoolers rushed home from school to watch Disney Channel, much to her parents dismay, Maddison was tuning in to watch TRL on MTV. After getting turned down to be in the studio audience during a trip to New York because, she did not meet the 16 year old age requirement. Maddison knew she didn't want to be in the audience, she wanted to be the one hosting the show.
While her passion for pop culture grew, Maddison received her Bachelors Degree in Broadcast Journalism from the esteemed University of Missouri School of Journalism. In the midst of pursuing her degree, she worked at the NBC affiliate KOMU 8 News in Columbia, Missouri.
During her time at KOMU Maddison reported daily news stories and produced entire newscasts. However, her favorite role was hosting and producing the segment titled 'Red Carpet Report,' which was her opportunity to bring Hollywood to mid-Missouri.
As you can imagine, after doing that Maddison was ready for the real thing. Therefore she decided to take her Midwest work ethic to the mecca of everything entertainment, Los Angeles.
Currently Maddison is the senior host and producer for the digital entertainment news network, Hollyscoop. In addition to managing all of the content for the channel, Maddison writes, hosts, and produces daily entertainment news stories and the Daily Rewind. DR is a feature show that fills viewers in on Hollyscoop's top stories of the day in a timely manner.
More recently Maddison has played an integral role in creating the channel's first live long form talk show called The Morning Tea. It's a show where viewers can get a full rundown of the days top celebrity news stories along with opinions, hot takes, and of course hot tea.
Since Maddison joined the Hollyscoop team her work has gained more than 10 million views, and the channels subscriber count has grown from 300 thousand to now 1.3 million and counting.
